Power Outage Moves Chicago Fire Start Time To 5:00

The starting time for the Chicago Fire and New York Red Bulls match this evening has been moved from 7:30 to 5:00 CST.

Monday’s storms, that left over 800,000 in the Chicago area without power, has knocked out the power at Toyota Park causing the game time to be moved up.

↵

The Fire have announced that they are offering free tickets and free parking to the general public with gates opening at 3:30 CST.

↵

For those that have already purchased tickets to tonight’s match will still be given their purchased seat locations and will receive refunds sometime the week of July 18th. Seating for the fans that didn’t already have tickets purchased will be general admission on the East Side of Toyota Park.

Tuesday’s match is a U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinal Game. If you’ve always wanted to check out a professional soccer match, head out to Toyota Park. You can’t beat the price.
