White Sox Welcome Reeling A's To Cell

The Oakland A's have hit a rough patch during the early goings of June. Heading into their series against the White Sox, they've lost nine straight games. Now, Mark Buehrle will take on Trevor Cahill and try to run that streak to 10.

Buehrle has been consistent all year, and is currently 5-4 with a 3.95 ERA and 1.41 WHIP. He's coming off of a start against Detroit where he got the win after pitching 6.0 innings and giving up three runs on ten hits. In his last game against the A's, Buehrle pitched 6.1 innings, giving up three runs on seven hits. Coco Crisp has hit a home run against Buehrle this season.

Starting for the A's will be Trevor Cahill. Cahill has been great on the year, at 6-3 with a 2.65 ERA and 1.24 WHIP. He's coming off of a start against Boston, however, in which he gave up five runs on eight hits over seven innings. In his last game against the Sox this season, Cahill threw 7.0 innings while giving up four runs on ten hits. Alexei Ramirez is 4-for-6 against Cahill on the season, with two home runs.

The weather in Chicago is expected to be cool and cloudy, with a game time temperature in the low-60s and a chance of thunderstorms. First pitch is at 7:10 P.M., CDT, and the game will be televised on CSN and CSNCA.
