White Sox Look To Keep Rolling Against King Felix And The Mariners

Winners of three of their last five, the White Sox will look to continue their improved play and nab a win against one of the best pitchers in the American League. Tuesday night will see them host Felix Hernandez and the Seattle Mariners for game two of their series at the Cell.

Pitching for the Sox will be Philip Humber. Humber has continued his surprising season, and he's currently 4-3 with a 3.06 ERA and 0.96 WHIP. In his last game against Seattle, he took a no decision, despite giving up just two runs on three hits over 7.0 innings. In that game, Justin Smoak was 1-for-2 against Humber with a double and a walk.

Felix Hernandez will take to the mound for Seattle. Hernandez has continued his phenomenal year and is sitting at 6-4 with a 3.04 ERA and 1.12 WHIP. He's coming off of a start against Tampa in which he gave up just one run on five hits over 7.0 innings. In his last game against the Sox, Hernandez earned the win after pitching a complete game and giving up only two runs. In that game, Juan Pierre was 2-for-3 with a double, and Carlos Quentin was 1-for-4 with a home run.

The weather in Chicago is expected to be sunny and hot, with a game time temperature in the low-90s. First pitch will be at 7:10 P.M., CDT, and the game will be televised on CSN+.
