Pitching for Chicago will be Mark Buehrle. Buehrle has largely righted his ship this season and is currently 4-4 with a 3.91 ERA and 1.37 WHIP. In his last game against the Tigers the season, Buehrle pitched 5.2 innings and gave up six runs on eight hits. In that game, Alex Avila was 2-for-3 with two doubles, and Ryan Raburn was 1-for-3 with a home run.
The Tigers will counter with Andrew Oliver. Oliver will be making his second start of the year after pitching his major league debut against the Red Sox. In that game, he received a no-decision, but gave up just three runs on five hits over six innings.
