White Sox Look To Rebound After Tough Loss

Most baseball fans probably didn't include the White Sox and Nationals Interleague matchup as a must see series.  If Friday's opener was an indication of things to come, this series could be worth taking a look at. The Nationals took game one of the weekend series Friday in an exciting 14 inning game that featured three comebacks by the White Sox.

The White Sox (37-40) will look to John Danks Saturday in game two of the series. Danks has had a perfect June after a difficult start to the 2011 campaign. The Sox lefty is 3-8 on the season with an ERA of 4.29. One thing the Sox will need from Danks Saturday is a long outing. The entire Sox bullpen was used Friday evening and several of the pitchers went multiple innings.

Taking the ball for the Nationals (39-37) will be Chicago area native Tom Gorzelanny. Gorzelanny has struggled this season with Washington. The lefty comes in with a 2-5 record and an ERA of 4.53 and hasn't won since May 7th.

The forecast at the time of first pitch is sunny skies with temps in the 70's. First pitch is scheduled for 3:10 CST. The game can be seen on Fox.
