Blackhawks Trade Troy Brouwer

The Chicago Blackhawks have traded veteran forward Troy Brouwer to the Washington Capitals for the 26th pick in this years draft.


Brouwer played in 79 games for the Blackhawks this past season. The Vancouver native scored 17 goals to go along with 19 assists for the Hawks.


The left winger had played his entire career with Chicago. The Blackhawks drafted Brouwer in the seventh round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
