The Chicago Blackhawks have traded veteran forward Troy Brouwer to the Washington Capitals for the 26th pick in this years draft.
↵Brouwer played in 79 games for the Blackhawks this past season. The Vancouver native scored 17 goals to go along with 19 assists for the Hawks.
↵The left winger had played his entire career with Chicago. The Blackhawks drafted Brouwer in the seventh round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
