He's coming off of a start against Oakland where he got the win after giving up three runs on seven hits over seven innings while striking out four. In his career against Minnesota, Buehrle is 25-18 with a 4.09 ERA and 1.35 WHIP.
Pitching for the Twins will be Nick Blackburn. Blackburn is 5-4 with a 3.47 ERA and 1.35 WHIP. In his last game against the Sox, Blackburn got the win after giving up one run on four hits over 6.2 innings pitched. Alex Rios was 2-for-3 in that game with a home run.
