Sox Take To Road To Face Mariners

The White Sox will leave Chicago after their disappointing homestead and return to the road to try to right their ship. They'll send Philip Humber to the mound to take on Seattle's Felix Hernandez.

Humber is coming off a hard luck start against Baltimore in which he allowed just two runs over seven innings but was still denied the win. On the season he's 2-3 with a 3.06 ERA and 0.96 WHIP. He's pitched only one inning against Seattle in the past, and has a 0.00 ERA and 1.00 WHIP from that appearance.

Going for the Mariners will be Felix Hernandez. Hernandez has started the season well, and is 3-2 with a 3.21 ERA and 1.17 WHIP. In his career against the White Sox, he's 2-3 with a 3.09 ERA and 1.29 WHIP. Paul Konerko is the only member of the lineup to have any success against King Felix, and he's .278 against him with a home run.

The weather in Seattle is forecast to be cloudy and rainy, with a game time temperature in the low 50's. First pitch is at 9:10 P.M., CDT, and the game will be televised on CSN.
