White Sox Go For Two As Buehrle Takes Mound Against Jays

After a classic pitchers duel on Thursday night, the White Sox are hoping their bats can come to life on Friday to help Mark Buehrle notch another win on the season.

Buehrle has righted his ship a bit after a string of losses in late April and May. He's now 4-3 with a 3.92 ERA and 1.35 WHIP on the year, and is coming off of a start against the Dodgers in which he gave up just two runs over seven innings pitched. In his career against Toronto, Buehrle is 5-3 with a 2.74 ERA and 1.10 WHIP. Jose Bautista is 4-for-16 against Buehrle with a double and a home run.

Pitching for Toronto will be Kyle Drabek. Drabek was off to a hot start on the year, but had a few hiccups in his last several trips to the mound. He's coming off a start against Houston in which he gave up three runs on eight hits over six innings, but still took the loss. On the season he's 3-3 with a 4.34 ERA and 1.66 WHIP. Over his career against the Sox he's 1-1 with a 4.63 ERA and 1.54 WHIP.

The weather in Toronto is forecast to be cloudy and cool, with a game time temperature in the upper 50's. First pitch will be at 6:07 P.M., CDT, and the game will be televised on CSN.
