Sox,Dodgers Face Off In Rubber Match Of Series

The White Sox will host the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday looking to not only take the series, but also to finish off a successful home stand -- a rare occurrence for the Sox, who have been nothing short of awful at home this season.

Prior to this home stand, the White Sox had a home record of 5-11. A win today would give them a 5-2 record at home before hitting the road for another long trip.

It won't be easy for the Sox (21-26) on Sunday afternoon. The Dodgers (21-26) will send Hiroki Kuroda to the mound. Kuroda has been one of the few bright spots for the Dodgers this season, entering Sunday's game with a 5-3 record and a fantastic 2.80 ERA.

Edwin Jackson will take the hill for the Sox. Jackson has been average this season at best. He comes in with a 3-5 record with 4.53 ERA in nine starts. The righty, who's had zero run support in four of his last six outings, will need some help from the Sox bats on Sunday.

The scheduled time for first pitch is 1:10 Central. Forecast for first pitch is sunshine and temps in the mid-70's. The game can be seen on WGN.
