Saturday, May 21, is judgment day, which means Friday is the last day we can watch TV before the rapture comes. I’ve spent more time watching TV than anyone I know, and if the end comes today, I’d have to say: Life well spent. (All times Central.)
↵6 p.m. WGN: Cubs at Red Sox: The Cubs have a two-game winning streak going, but the Red Sox have a six-game winning streak and are the hottest team in baseball.
↵7 p.m. CSN Chicago: Dodgers at White Sox: The White Sox are heating up and will try to keep it going.
↵10 p.m. HDNet: The Voice vs. Hulk Hogan. If you have HDNet, trust me, you should check this show out. Michael “The Voice” Schiavello is a great interviewer, and he’ll be talking to the Hulkster for an hour. Train, say your prayers, eat your vitamins and tune in.
↵Various channels, “judgement day” coverage: I find this whole Harold Camping Apocalypse thing insane, but be prepared: If you’re watching TV this weekend, you’re going to hear a lot about the rapture.
