Heading into Tuesday night's game at Anaheim, the White Sox are on a season high three game win streak. Now, John Danks will start for the Sox and try to get his first win of the season.
Danks, at 0-5 with a 3.83 ERA and 1.34 WHIP, is coming off another hard luck loss against Minnesota, in which he gave up only three runs on eight hits over eight innings, but was still denied the win. In his career versus Los Angeles, Danks is 3-3 with a 2.56 ERA and 1.14 WHIP. Bobby Abreu has hit him well, with a .286 average against him and two home runs.
Pitching for the Angeles will be Joel Pineiro. Pineiro has only started two games this year, but has been excellent across them. He's currently 1-0 with a 0.71 ERA and a 0.95 WHIP. In his career against the Sox, he's 2-5 with a 4.86 ERA and 1.30 WHIP. Adam Dunn has hit him well, and is 5-for-16 with one double and three home runs.
The weather in L.A. is expected to be sunny with a game time temperature in the low-60s. First pitch is at 9:05 P.M., CDT, and the game will be televised on CSN.
