Cubs Go For Three Out Of Four Against Arizona

The Cubs today will try to take three out of four from the Arizona Diamondbacks and start their road trip on a positive note. Casey Coleman will also be looking to rebound after his last start, in which he lasted just 2.2 innings and gave up six runs.

Coleman, who is now 1-1 with a 7.43 ERA and 2.03 WHIP, will try to recreate the start that he had against the Colorado Rockies earlier in the year. In that start, he lasted 5.2 innings, and held the powerful Rockies offense to just one run on four hits. As Coleman did not start in the beginning of the year when the Cubs first saw the Dbacks, he has no experience against their lineup.

The Diamondbacks will send Daniel Hudson to the mound to counter Coleman. The former White Sox pitcher has had a rough start to the season, going 1-4 with a 5.64 ERA and 1.38 WHIP. He did not start against the Cubs in the first series of the year, so this will also be the first time the Cubs see him.

First pitch for today's game is at 3:10 P.M, CDT, and the game will be televised on WGN and FS-A.
