Garza And Cubs Go For Two In A Row At Miller Park

Matt Garza will be making his second start for the Chicago Cubs this evening at Miller Park. Garza, who pitched well in his first start, striking out twelve, but earned a no decision, will be facing most of the Brewers for the first time in his career. Only two current Brewers have had any kind of success against Garza, Yuniesky Betancourt and Carlos Gomez. Gomez is 1-for-3 with a RBI, while Betancourt is 5-for-15 with a double and an RBI.

Chris Narveson will be on the hill for the Brewers this evening. Narveson is filling in for Zack Greinke in Milwaukee's rotation. In his first start against Atlanta on April 4th, he threw six scoreless innings with three strikeouts and two walks. Narveson has faced the Cubs as both a reliever and a starter. Across nine games and two starts, he's 3-0 with a 3.66 ERA and 1.37 WHIP. Both Geovany Soto and Marlon Byrd hit Narveson well. Soto has a .375 average across eight at-bats with one double. Byrd is 3-for-6 with three doubles.

It looks like it will be another indoor game at Miller Park. The weather in Milwaukee is forecast to have thunderstorms tonight with lows around 50. First pitch is at 6:10 P.M. CDT, and the game will be televised on CSN, MLBN, and FSN.
