Humber Tries To Continue Hot Streak Against Orioles

With the exception of his start on April 20th against Tampa Bay, Phil Humber has gone to the mound four times and given up fewer than two earned runs four times. He'll try to continue that roll tonight at the Cell against the Baltimore Orioles as the White Sox look for a rebound win.

Humber is currently 2-2 with a 3.20 ERA and 1.07 WHIP, and is one of the lone bright spots in what has been a rather dismal month for the Sox. In his career against the O's, Humber has pitched in four games, where he's tallied a 3.18 ERA and 1.59 WHIP. Few of the current O's have faced him, though Nick Markakis is 1-for-2.

Taking the hill for Baltimore this evening will be Chris Tillman.Tillman is off to a rocky 2011 season, going 0-2 with a 6.16 ERA and 1.42 WHIP. In his career against the White Sox, he's 0-1 with a 7.04 ERA and 1.70 WHIP. Alex Rios has hit him well in limited action, going 1-for-3 with a home run.

The weather in Chicago tonight is forecast to be cloudy with a low in the low-60s, and scattered thunderstorms. First pitch is at 6:10 P.M., CDT, and the game will be televised on WGN and MASN 2 HD.
