Lingerie Football League Announces 2011-12 Schedule -- With A Twist

The Lingerie Football League is going to be back next fall for its third season; in addition to the Chicago Bliss, who will play home games at the Fire's Toyota Park, and teams last year in Philadelphia, Tampa, Miami, Baltimore, Orlando, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Seattle, the LFL is adding expansion teams this season in Cleveland, Las Vegas, Green Bay, Minnesota and Toronto.

The season gets underway Friday, August 26 with the Minnesota Valkyrie visiting the Green Bay Chill (seriously, where do they come up with some of these nicknames?) at 9 p.m. Central time. The LFL is televised on MTV2.

What's the twist? The league announced yesterday that in the event of an NFL lockout, games will be moved to Sunday afternoons -- presumably, to fill the TV time for football fans looking for their usual Sunday NFL fix.

The Bliss' first home game at Toyota Park will be on Friday, September 2 at 9 p.m. Central against the Las Vegas Sin.
