Bears' NFL Preseason Schedule Begins With Rams In Hall Of Fame Game

The NFL preseason schedule was released today and, barring an NFL lockout, the Chicago Bears will kick things off when they head to Canton, Ohio, to face the St. Louis Rams in the annual Hall of Fame Game on August 7.

The Hall of Fame game, of course, is named as such because it's played at the site of Pro Football Hall of Fame during the weekend of the annual induction ceremony. Making this game particularly special to Bears' fans is the fact that Richard Dent is one of the six being enshrined on Saturday before the Bears kickoff the NFL preseason slate on Sunday.

Following their opening weekend game against the Rams, the Bears will host the Buffalo Bills between August 11 and 14 and the Cleveland Browns sometime between September 1 and 4. Their preseason road games include a trip to Tennessee to take on the Titans between August 25 and 28 as we as a nationally-televised Monday Night Football game against the New York Giants on August 22 at 7 p.m.

The contests against the Bills, Titans and Browns will all be televised by the Chicago Bears Network and can be seen on WFLD-TV FOX 32 in Chicago. The exact dates for those games will be announced at a later date according to the team's release.
