Bulls Vs. Clippers Score Update: Rose Drives Bulls To 29-28 Lead After One

Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose had 11 points, six assists and two rebounds in a scintillating first quarter to power Chicago to a 29-28 first quarter lead over the Los Angeles Clippers. Of those 11 points, seven of them came in a row to cap the quarter with a flurry of highlights.

Rose was helped out by Richard Hamilton, who dropped in eight points in the quarter on 4-6 shooting. But it was Rose who was the story, especially considering how quiet Chris Paul, his All Star counterpart, was in the quarter. Paul had a pedestrian three points, three assists and a steal in the first, but Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and Caron Butler picked up the slack for Lob City.
