The Chicago Bears have long been known for their defense, and it's that side of the ball that leads the team's 2011 Pro Bowl selections. Of the five bears named to the NFC roster, four are on defense:
- LB Lance Briggs
- CB Corey Graham
- CB Charles Tillman
- LB Brian Urlacher
For Urlacher, this will be his eighth Pro Bowl, and second in a row after not being selected for three years between 2007 and 2009. For Briggs, this will be his seventh straight trip to Hawaii, after missing out in his first two years in the league. Both Tillman and Graham, were selected for the first times in their careers, which might be some small consolation to a season that went decidedly off the rails following the injuries of QB Jay Cutler and RB Matt Forte.
