Normally I would be angry following a sub-par 8-8 record last week. With all of the upsets and crazy games that took place, I must admit I have to be happy to have won eight games. For the entire season my record is now 143-81. Here are the Christmas edition picks for week 16. Happy Holidays and happy picking everyone.

Houston 24 Indianapolis 14

The Texans are coming off a tough loss at home and the Colts are coming off their first victory. I think the Texans get back in the win column this week.

Cincinnati 23 Arizona 17

Bengals got a much needed win and need another one against the Cardinals. I like the Bengals at home in a close one.

Baltimore 28 Cleveland 7

Ravens once again disappointed last week. Browns are just plain bad so I like the Ravens at home big in this one.

Denver 21 Buffalo 17

Broncos need to win this game to keep their division lead.  Bills want this season to end. I'll take Tebow-mania in this one.

Tennessee 24 Jacksonville 14

Titans have to be embarassed with their performance against the Colts. Jaguars are bad. I like the Titans to rebound at home.

New England 35 Miami 13

Tom Brady and the Patriots should continue their pursuit for home field advantage with a win over the Dolphins. I like the Pats big.

Washington 20 Minnesota 10

Redskins sure played well against the Giants. No reason they can't dominate the Vikings. Take the Redskins in this one.

NY Giants 24 NY Jets 23

Two struggling teams face off in the stadium they both call home. Tough one to pick. I'll flip a coin and take the Giants in a close one.

Kansas City 21 Oakland 17

Raiders are slumping while the Chiefs look better with Orton and a new coach. I'll take the Chiefs.

Pittsburgh 31 St. Louis 10

Perfect rebound game for the Steelers after losing to the niners. Rams are done. I like the Steelers big.

Carolina 28 Tampa Bay 14

Panthers are still fighting while the Buccaneers seem to have quit a month ago. I'll take Cam and the Panthers at home.

Dallas 24 Philadelphia 21

Two more tough teams to figure out. Cowboys still have a chance to win the division while the Eagles are all but done. I'll take the Cowboys.

Detroit 20 San Diego 17

Lions had a huge win against the Raiders last week. Chargers are playing better, but I think they'll stumble in Detroit. I like the Lions in a tight one.

Seattle 27 San Francisco 17

It's too bad the Seahawks got off to such a bad start. They are playing as good as anyone right now. 49ers are still playing for a bye, but I think Seattle takes this one at home.

Green Bay 31  Chicago 14

Packers have lost the pressure of going undefeated. Bears season ended when Cutler went down. If the Bears would have stayed healthy this could have been a great game. With all sorts of reserves playing for the Bears, I think the Packers will roll.

New Orleans 31 Atlanta 21

Saints are playing great football. I see their quest for the first-round bye continue as they'll take care of the Falcons at home.
