It's not often that no Big 10 team is ranked higher in the Coaches Poll than Houston, but that's going to be the case heading into Week 11. The Cougars, at No. 11, are immediately ahead of the Big 10's three highest ranked teams: Penn State at No. 12, Michigan State at No. 13 and Wisconsin at No. 14.
The Nittany Lions, who were off in Week 10, find themselves as the highest ranked team in the Big 10 following Nebraska's dumbfounding home loss to Northwestern. The Spartans held onto their spot in Top 15 for dear life after narrowly defeating Minnesota 31-24, and Wisconsin eased their way to No. 14 after tramping Purdue 62-17. As for the rest of the Big 10, Nebraska slides down to No. 17, Michigan falls from No. 13 all the way to No. 21 following their loss to Iowa and Ohio State and the Hawkeyes both clock in as receiving votes.
