As fantasy football inches closer to the start of its post-season, it's very possible that your game on Sunday will determine whether or not your team makes the playoffs. It's been a banner year for injuries in the NFL, but fortunately there weren't many in Week 12. Still, there are a few names appearing on most waiver wires that could spark some interest.
SB Nation's fantasy sports site Fake Teams published its weekly waiver wire outlook today. There's one team that will certainly register to Bears fans: wide receiver Johnny Knox.
Knox was a forgotten man early in the season as Chicago's offensive line struggled immensely, but he's really come on lately. Knox caught four passes for 145 yards and a touchdown last week during a loss to Oakland, including an 81-yard bomb from backup quarterback Caleb Hanie.
Because of Hanie's presence, Knox is hardly a no-brainer pickup. Still, for owners in dire need of another wide receiver or flex player, Knox at least gives you a puncher's chance.
