The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are winners of three straight heading into Saturday's home game against Boston College, which will be their third consecutive opponent from the ACC. Notre Dame beat Wake Forest 24-17 on Nov. 5, then crushed Maryland 45-21 on Nov. 12.
During their winning streak, they've played well offensively, averaging at least 5.5 yards per play in all three contests. They're still having trouble winning the turnover battle, but they were good enough in the other facets of the game to avoid serious turnover-related trouble.
Boston College has struggled on both sides of the ball this season, though they are coming off an impressive defensive performance in a 14-10 win over NC State on Nov. 12. They're probably going to need another great defensive effort if they are to have a serious shot at winning in South Bend.
