Notre Dame Vs. Maryland Game Time, TV Schedule And More

Coming off a tough 24-17 win over pesky Wake Forest, the Irish return to ACC country on Saturday to play the Maryland Terrapins. The only other meeting between these two schools came in 2002, which Notre Dame won 22-0. With the way Maryland has played football this season, a similar score is possible in Saturday night's game.

The Terps have looked dangerous in spurts--they defeated Miami (FL) in the season opener and were competitive in losses to West Virginia and Clemson--but they've also been prone to baffling lapses. Two weeks ago, they lost by double-digits at home to a Boston College team that had yet  to beat a FBS school. And back in September they were drilled by Temple, 38-7.

So it's difficult to know what the Irish should expect from this Maryland team, which is only playing for pride at this point. But the Irish should have little trouble scoring points, and barring a barrage of untimely turnovers, should be able to handle the Terps comfortably.

Game date, time: 7:39 pm ET, Saturday, Nov. 12

Location: FedEx Field, Landover, MD

TV channel: NBC

Spread: Notre Dame favored by 20-1/2 points

Series history: Notre Dame leads, 1-0
