Coming off their impressive Monday night victory, Jay Cutler, Matt Forte and the Chicago Bears (5-3) return home to host the Detroit Lions (6-2) in Week 10 of the NFL season. More experts are now weighing in with their picks, so here's a look at the most recent predictions.
According to OddsShark.com, the Bears are only 2.5 point favorites to beat the Lions, and NFL experts aren't exactly convinced of a Bears victory either. The three-man panel at Yahoo! is split 2-1 favoring the Lions, with Les Carpenter as the sole Bears supporter. Meanwhile, the five-man panel at CBS Sports is split 3-2 favoring the Bears, with Dave Richard and Will Brinson as the two men picking the Lions.
Finally, Vinnie Iyer of AOL's SportingNews has this to say about his Bears pick:
Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears. The Bears found the right balance in their offense after their Week 8 bye, complementing the hard outside running of Matt Forte with intermediate route-running by Earl Bennett in the win at Philadelphia. The defense is also containing big plays, and it likely won't need to deal with Lions running back Jahvid Best this week. The Bears will focus on pressuring quarterback Matthew Stafford with the front four and will be successful at keeping Calvin Johnson in check downfield. Bears 20, Lions 17.
