Just when you thought things couldn’t get worse for Steve Bartman, he will once again be on the sports radar.
↵The CHL’s Dayton Gems will be hosting Steve Bartman Night on October 14th which is the eighth anniversary of the so called “Bartman Incident” against the Florida Marlins.
↵The team will hold a free ticket for Steve Bartman at will call should he decide to attend. Fans who show up wearing a Cubs hat, green turtleneck, and headphones will get a free ticket to the game.
↵The Gems staff will also dress up and there will be Bartman and baseball themed contests throughout the game.
↵Not sure if any team will be hosting “Alex Gonzalez: How to botch an easy double platy grounder night,” because that play lost the game for the Cubs that night more than the Bartman play did.
