Both sides seem to be getting further apart in negotiations which caused the decision.

In a statement released by NBA Commissioner David Stern, “The gap is so significant that we just can’t bridge it at this time,” said Stern, who added it’s doubtful a full 82-game season can be played.

The dates cancelled so far are for games scheduled between November 1st through the 14th.

The Bulls had seven games scheduled during this stretch. If the season were to begin on November 15th, the Bulls would start the season during the annual Circus Trip.
