The NBA announced on Monday evening that the first two weeks of the regular season have been cancelled.
↵Both sides seem to be getting further apart in negotiations which caused the decision.
↵In a statement released by NBA Commissioner David Stern, “The gap is so significant that we just can’t bridge it at this time,” said Stern, who added it’s doubtful a full 82-game season can be played.
↵The dates cancelled so far are for games scheduled between November 1st through the 14th.
↵The Bulls had seven games scheduled during this stretch. If the season were to begin on November 15th, the Bulls would start the season during the annual Circus Trip.
