Go figure, right? The Bulls lose two winnable games in New Jersey and Philadelphia, and then come home to face the best team in the Eastern Conference, the Celtics -- and beat them handily. This Jekyll-and-Hyde team hasn't shown its real face all year, largely due to injury -- their three best players, Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah and Carlos Boozer, have played only a handful of games together, and it will be another month, probably, until Noah is back. In the meantime, the Bulls have three more games against supposedly "easy" opponents before they face the Heat on Saturday, so they really... do... need... to... win... them. Meanwhile, it's conceivable that the Pistons might be involved in complicated three-way deal which would send Carmelo Anthony to the Nets. But that won't happen in time for them to get any new players tonight. The Pistons are 3-16 on the road, and the three wins are against the Kings, the Clippers and the Raptors -- the Bulls ought to win this one. Tonight's game begins at 7 p.m. CST and will be televised on CSN Chicago.
