Clearly, that’s the reason the Bears will wear these 1940’s era jerseys on Sept. 27 vs. the Packers and Nov. 14 vs. the Vikings:

The Deep Dish is all for history but… um, well, those aren’t great. Strange looking numbers that look like they were cut from orange construction paper by an 8-year-old.

Naturally, these exist because the Bears want you to buy one; they don’t appear to be for sale yet in the online store.

The Bears also announced that they will wear their white road jerseys for the home opener on Sunday.
