Are you sitting on the edge of your chair, remote in hand waiting for Sunday’s Bears opener against the Detroit Lions? Hopefully you’re checking back here regularly for bits of info on the Bears. But if that’s not enough and you feel you really need something else to help you get ready for Sunday, the Bears are hoping you’ll join them as they get ready.
↵This entire week, the Bears are fanning out across Chicago helping fans get into the football mood. Perhaps your child was one of the lucky ones who got to see Tommie Harris, Danieal Manning or Anthony Adams help ring in the new school year. Eleven Bears attended the first day of school yesterday at 10 schools to help ring in the new school year and help stress the importance of going to school every day.
↵The Bears are also giving you a chance to see a live radio show. On Monday, “Bears Insider” was broadcast live to season ticket holders from the Walter Payton Center.
↵Not a season ticket holder? No problem. “Bears All-Access” will be broadcast live tomorrow night from Cubby Bear North in Lincolnshire from 6-7pm. One lucky fan will receive a pair of tickets to Sunday’s opener.
↵And finally, the Bears are asking all fans to wear orange and blue on Friday and join players at Daley Plaza for fun, food and other festivities.
↵This will leave fans time to fill up their refrigerators with drinks and their cupboards with snacks so they can be ready for Sunday’s opener at noon.
↵Bear down, Bears!
