Yesterday's postponement in Boston due to the effects of Hurricane Earl forced the White Sox and Red Sox to have a split doubleheader today.
John Danks will face Clay Buchholz in game one, which will begin at 12:05 CDT and be televised on WCIU.
Gavin Floyd will face John Lackey in game two, which will begin at 6:10 CDT and be televised on CSN Chicago.
The Tribune's Mark Gonzales reports that the postponement could make a mess of the White Sox rotation next week:
Pitching coach Don Cooper said the White Sox's bullpen will be "rested and ready" as the result of Friday night's rainout at Boston that was rescheduled for Saturday as part of a day-night doubleheader. The rainout likely will force either John Danks or Gavin Floyd, who will start the doubleheader games to start Wednesday night at Detroit on short rest. But if each pitches deep, "then will might have to go off the board and look at someone like (Tony) Pena or (Lucas) Harrell," Cooper said.
This StoryStream™ will have all the information on both games.
