Your Wednesday Sports TV Schedule

Here come the Hawks! The mighty Blackhawks! (This evening.)

↵

2:30 pm, CSN Chicago: White Sox at Athletics. The Sox were eliminated last night; watch for a lot of bench players to get playing time.

↵

6 pm, ESPN: Rays at Yankees. The Rays are now 2.5 games behind the Yankees, but their magic number for clinching the wild card is six.

↵

7 pm, CSN Chicago: NHL exhibition, Blackhawks vs. Lightning at Winnipeg. (That’s W-I-N-N-I-P-E-G, not “Winnepeg” as some sources spell it.)

↵

7 pm, WCIU: Cubs vs. Giants. The Cubs continue their foray into the NL West race.

↵

9 pm, ESPN: Padres at Dodgers. Another important game in the NL West race; the Dodgers traded for Ted Lilly, who will go tonight, to try to stay in that race. They were eliminated from playoff contention last night.
