White Sox Face Orioles Monday Night Holding Tenuous Lead In AL Central

The White Sox look to split their series with the suddenly-hot Orioles, who are 5-1 since Buck Showalter took over as manager last week.

The Sox have only a half-game lead over the Minnesota Twins going into tonight's game, and the Twins will invade Chicago for a crucial three-game series with the Sox beginning tomorrow night on the South Side.

Edwin Jackson, who threw very well in his Sox debut last week, will face Baltimore's Brian Matusz; the weather conditions continue to be hot and muggy on the East Coast.

The game will begin at 6:05 CDT and will be televised on CSN Chicago.
