Bears Take It To The Limit With One Last Cut

The Chicago Bears waived injured fullback Will Ta'ufo'au today. The move brings the team's active roster to the 75-player limit required under NFL rules.

Ta'ufo'au, an undrafted free agent, sprained the MCL in his right knee during Saturday evening's game against the Arizona Cardinals. If he clears waivers, the Bears are expected to place him on injured reserve. Ta'ufo'au had generally played well in camp, though his position isn't a major component of offensive coordinator Mike Martz's typical approach.
