Toni Ginnetti reports in the Sun-Times that the White Sox and Dodgers may be working on a trade that would send Manny Ramirez to the South Side:
The Dodgers appeared to be trying to negotiate a trade instead of allowing Ramirez to be claimed outright without compensation, with the Sox having only to pay his remaining salary.
Sources confirmed the Dodgers were reviewing scouting reports on some of the Sox minor league players in anticipation of a deal.
