Former Blackhawks goalie Antti Niemi told NBC Sports he is disappointed he is no longer with the Blackhawks:â†µ

The Hawks elected not to sign Niemi to his $2.75 million salary arbitration reward earlier this month. Niemi is now an unrestricted free agent and looking for work. The market has not been good for goalies, but he is hopeful he will have a contract with someone else soon.
