Kansas City, MO (Sports Network) – Friday’s game between the Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals was postponed after a lengthy rain delay stopped the game in the bottom of the first inning.
Sean O’Sullivan started for the Royals and retired the White Sox in order in the first before Gregor Blanco led off the bottom half with a walk off Chicago starter Edwin Jackson. The game was halted from there, however, and called just before 9 p.m. (CT).
The game will be made up Saturday as part of a doubleheader that begins at 6:10 p.m. (CT).
