Scottie Pippen’s induction speech at the Hall of Fame included gratitude for just about everyone he’d come in contact with during his career:
With presenter and fellow Hall of Famer Michael Jordan looking on, Scottie Pippen delivered a gracious and heartfelt eight-minute speech Friday night as he entered the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in a ceremony at this city’s Symphony Hall.
In contrast to the barbs and competitive nature of Jordan’s speech last season, Pippen spent virtually the entire speech thanking people. He even asked his high school coach and all former Bulls teammates who attended to stand for recognition.
