If you remember Ken Burns’ 1994 PBS series “Baseball”, you’ll recall that each of its parts, called “innings”, represented approximately a decade’s worth of baseball history.
↵Now, Burns has produced “The Tenth Inning”, a sequel to his documentary which covers the 1990’s and beyond.
↵It’s scheduled to air on PBS on September 28 and 29 but you can attend a special preview screening at at The Bank of America Theatre in downtown Chicago at 18 W. Monroe on Thursday, August 19 at 6:30 pm. You can buy tickets at this WTTW link or by calling (800) 775-2000. Tickets are $12 for WTTW members and $20 for non-members.
