↵Nothing that few major-league pitchers have sustained this kind of injury, Peavy said, “It’s kind of uncharted territory. … I guess I’m a guinea pig.”

Peavy turns 30 in May 2011; no longer young, he’ll have a tough rehab. For those Cubs fans who never wanted Peavy on the North Side, this could be vindication, although this injury appears to be more of a freak than anything else.
