Sarah Spain just tweeted that it now seems likely that recently DL'ed Jake Peavy will miss the rest of the season. Peavy suffered a severe shoulder injury during last night's game against the Angels. Spain wrote,
Peavy now expected to miss the rest of the season after suffering a detached latissimus muscle in his right shoulder.
