It’s looking like the Dodgers may not be as high on Ryan Theriot as the t-shirt vendors outside Wrigley Field. Two MLB insiders have tweeted that the Cubs former shortstop and current second baseman is now not likely to be involved in the Ted-Lilly-to-the-Dodgers deal.
Dylan Hernandez of the L.A. Times noted that a position player was involved in the deal, but it probably wasn’t Ryan Theriot. Meanwhile, Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports reports that the Dodgers are now focusing solely on Lilly.
