The Cubs, who have scored a total of six runs in their last five games and are hitting .133 (12-for-90) in their last three games, all losses, will take on the NL Central-leading Cincinnati Reds in a noon contest at Wrigley Field today.
Johnny Cueto, who has a 0.87 ERA in his last three starts, will take the mound for Cincinnati.
He'll be opposed by the Cubs' Randy Wells, who has not won a game since April 30 (six losses and five no-decisions since then).
The odds aren't good for the Cubs today; they are 12 games under .500, their lowest point since the end of the 2006 season, and they are 4-10 since June 17.
The game will be televised on CSN Chicago.
