Paul Konerko, fresh off his recent American League All-Star addition, was given a break Sunday as the White Sox try to end their successful first half with a victory over Kansas City and ace Zack Greinke.
Konerko is batting .299 with 20 home runs and 63 RBIs. He is batting .150 lifetime (3 for 20) against Greinke.
Designated hitter Carlos Quentin takes over at the cleanup spot, while Mark Kotsay will play first base.
