For a brief while earlier today, a (presumably) few of us on Twitter were captivated by a report that Carlos Zambrano’s picture had been taken down from the wall outside the Wrigley Field press box.
↵Local sportswriter David Schuster mentioned it first. Then, a couple hours later, the Trib’s Paul Sullivan chimed in confirming the report. He even included a twitpic.
↵What could this mean? An impending trade? An outright release? A bizarre part of Z’s punishment? Sully implied he was looking into the matter but, so far, we’ve heard nothing further.
