The White Sox and Cubs have made their selections in the third round of the MLB Draft.
With the 95th overall pick, the White Sox drafted Addison Reed, another right-hander, from San Diego State. Drafting 97th, the Cubbies selected Micah Gibbs, a backstop from Louisiana State.
Additionally, in Compensatory Round B, the White Sox used the 114th overall pick on yet another righty: Thomas Royse, a high-school junior from Louisville, KY. They received that pick as compensation for not signing southpaw Bryan Morgado last year.
