Yesterday, to help launch SB Nation Chicago, I wrote a feature about who I thought were the five most popular athletes in Chicago right now.
↵As often happens with lists like this, controversy erupted right away. The editors at SBNation.com couldn't believe I left Derrick Rose off the list, and one of the commenters laid in "who's Ryan Dempster" accompanied by a profanity, ignoring all the good works Dempster does in the community and his team leadership.
