Gorzelanny's Good Outing Wasted In 2-0 Cubs Loss To Pirates

There isn’t much in this Sports Network recap of the game, but there wasn’t much to this Cubs game, either. They barely showed up.

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) – Brad Lincoln notched seven scoreless innings and Garrett Jones snapped a scoreless tie in the eighth with an RBI double as Pittsburgh topped the Chicago Cubs, 2-0, in the finale of a three-game set from Wrigley Field.

Lincoln (1-2) scattered four hits while striking out six and walking just one. Octavio Dotel turned in a scoreless ninth for his 16th save.

Lastings Milledge drove in the other run for the Pirates, who won two of three in the series after dropping six in a row coming in.

Starlin Castro doubled for the Cubs, who have dropped four of six.

Andrew Cashner (0-3) allowed two runs while retiring one batter in the eighth to take the loss.
