United Center Area Watering Holes Busy During Playoffs

Want to catch ’Hawks players during the Finals? You might find some of them at the bars near the UC:

“It’s amazing. It’s the best thing to happen to businesses near the United Center,” Market’s principal owner Karl Spektor said recently.

The Blackhawks and other Chicago athletes often take a load off at the West Loop spot, “especially during the week,” Spektor said, standing across from from wingers Patrick Kane and Adam Burish.

“We have five to 10 players come in with their wives and girlfriends. They watch themselves on TV, ESPN.”

Not tonight, though. Everyone will be watching THEM.
