Now this is irony — the Blackhawks, whose cheapfisted owner “Dollar Bill” Wirtz refused to televise home games for decades, may open up the United Center for a “viewing party” for the Stanley Cup Finals road games at Philadelphia next week:
↵↵↵“I think we would do very well,” Wirtz said Tuesday on “The Afternoon Saloon” on ESPN 1000. “I think some of the thing is we didn’t know when the games were, but I think we would have a full house. I think it would be fun. I think it’s something we should seriously consider.”
